Acid-Alkaline Food Chart

When following an alkaline diet it is important to know what foods to eat. The food you eat can have one of three different effects on your system. Food can either have an alkalizing, neutral, or acidifying effect. Below are two different tables which should be used in conjunction with each other in order to identify which foods will help you on your alkaline diet path to a balanced pH.

*note that there are various Acid-Alkaline Food Charts out there and many of the foods appear in different columns for different charts. It is recommended that you err on the side of caution and treat foods that show up in various columns as acidifying (which doesn’t mean avoid but balance).
